“ Crowded, long line, full of locals - all signs of a solid lunch joint. The line moves fast. Outside seating on deck and under a canopy by the side. The sandwiches that we got were all great. Fabulous rolls. Not sure where they get them from. Beware that the listed sandwiches like the American hero, Italian hero, etc are made on a foot long sub roll. They are pretty big. Unless you are a big eater, I would recommend splitting one between two people. Hungry ones, get the full sandwich. An idea that we didn't get to try. Pop in right when they open, take the sandwiches and eat them by kaaterskill falls or other spot. ”

“ I've missed the sandwiches since ski season abruptly ended. Had a friend pick up lunch for the office today for takeout and all of us got the New Yorker! Roast beef, super thin Swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo and horse radish on a nice sub roll. The beef is delicious, good bread and the horse is the star. Novices can split these sandwiches but if you have an appetite, crush the whole thing and you'll have a smile all day. Full deli menu with hot and cold subs but 98% of the time, I stick with the New Yorker. Plenty of parking on side of front is crowded. Tip: grab a sandwich to go on the way to the mountain and a delicious lunch awaits you when you take a a break. Be patient as everything is made to order. Tourist and locals fill the tables during the non-quarantine time. ”

“ MONKEY BREAD!!! thats all. This loaf is ooey, gooey cinnamon goodness. The BEST french toast is made of this bread. Just come here and buy a loaf and an order of their apple cinnamon french toast. You will leave happy and full. This is the number one ( and only) good breakfast spot in tannersville and its a top pick when im here on vacation. The prices are super reasonable, the service is fast and you can enjoy your breakfast on the nice patio. They also mkae great sandwiches to order and you can't beat the green mountain coffee. Never mind all that nice stuff though, just get the monkey bread. Tell them an all knowing cinnamon lover sent you. ”
